Words can be twisted into any shape. Promises can be made to lull the heart and seduce the soul. In the final analysis, words mean nothing. They are labels we give things in an effort to wrap our puny little brains around their underlying natures, when ninety-nine percent of the time the totality of the reality is an entirely different beast. The wisest man is the silent one. Examine his actions. Judge him by them.

This past week
Distractions are everywhere. What you do with your focus determines the outcome of your future. Choose what you focus on wisely.
When we feel starved for connection, it’s easy to isolate and think of yourself as someone who may never get said connection. It creates a false sense of insecurity within. When we feel starved, we latch onto what we have. Time to create more bonds with new people.
The ways in which we show up for ourselves in health have the power to affect many other elements within your day-to-day reality. Mood (anxiety levels, depression), focus/attention, energy, dream recall, creativity. Sink into how this may make you feel. Envision what a future of embodied health and well-being looks like. Your future needs you.
Exist in the present. Don’t ruminate over the past or chase the future as if it’s better than what’s right in front of you. We don’t become whole by pushing away pieces of seemingly broken parts in the moment. We become whole when we cradle them with a gentle yet fierce witnessing eye, pushing any urges away to run in the opposite direction.
